On February 17, 2016, the New Hampshire Fish & Game Commission voted 5 to 4 in favor of passing a proposed bobcat hunt which allows inhumane hunting methods to kill a bobcat and further endangers the Canadian Lynx, which closely resembles the bobcat. Don’t allow TROPHY HUNTING to happen to New Hampshire’s Bobcat and don’t allow our CANADIAN LYNX to be killed by mistaken identity!

If you are a New Hampshire resident or taxpayer, you have a right to contact your Senator or write to Honorable Representative Carol M. McGuire, Administrative Rules Office, 25 Capitol Street, Concord, NH 03301 and respectfully request they support an amendment to ban all forms of bobcat hunting in New Hampshire. The bobcat is still recovering from an aggressive hunt in the 1980’s and there is no reason to hunt bobcats except to profit from selling its pelt.

Please watch PROTECT THE BOBCAT: A New Hampshire Wildlife Story for more information about why this hunt is so wrong for New Hampshire. Please SHARE this video on social media and spread the word to as many New Hampshire residents as possible. The fate of the New Hampshire bobcat will be decided on April 1st during a Joint Legislative Committee on Administrative Rules Hearing at the State House in Concord, New Hampshire.
