To help ensure that AB 1213, The Bobcat Protection Act passes out of the CA Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Water next Tuesday, June 25, 2013 we are asking you to support our cause by participating in a one-day phone blast to the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Water requested on Monday, June 24, 2013. Calls can be made over the weekend—leave message on their voice mail.

Please note that the opposition—meaning trappers with their funding from big trapping and hunting organizations with the fur dealers that profit—are out in full force, lobbying hard to pressure committee members to not support this bill!

Please do encourage your friends/relatives who live in the swing districts or those who have second homes in these areas to make the calls directly to their Senator as constituent support matters the most to these Senate committee members.

MORONGO BASIN RESIDENTS: It is especially important that we call our regional Senator Jean Fuller asking her to support this bill. Fuller will most likely vote against this bill so we need to have our voices heard. Let her know that you are one of her constituents and she must stand up for this bill! Phone her in Sacramento at (916) 651-4018 or at her district office in Bakersfield at: (661) 323-0443.
