Project Bobcat was recently notified that H.B. 4226 is currently moving through Illinois legislature which would allow renewed hunting and trapping of bobcats—previously banned since in 1972. We oppose this legislation and hope that those of you in the state of Illinois do too! If you live in the state or have friends and family there please contact your state representatives in opposition to this bill. Share the info on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media to get the word out!
